Systems online.

Anti-corpo DIY AI, distributed inference, agent systems. human/computer fluency.

$ whoami

The relationship between things is as real as the things themselves. A wheel is not a wheel without the axle. A lone note becomes music with companions. People are not a community without the trust that holds them together. The parts matter. The connections matter. La raison d'être matters. Miss not the forest for the trees.

[ACTIVE] Phonon

A distributed inference cluster built from spare Android phones. Many small machines acting as one — no cloud, no data leakage, no rented intelligence. mDNS discovery, Ed25519 pairing, health-aware routing. Open source.

[ACTIVE] Ragamuffin

A knowledge server for autonomous agents. Stores facts and documents so agents can answer questions about your systems without relying on their training data. Written in Go, backed by Qdrant, AGPL licensed. The memory layer for the whole House.

$ pricing --honest

I scope before I quote. No surprise invoices, no meter running on a phone call.

Discrete builds — a private inference setup, a security architecture review, a zero-trust network — are quoted as fixed-price projects once we've agreed what "done" looks like. Most start in the low-to-mid four figures.

Longer engagements (standing up infrastructure and staying on to operate or hand it off) run as a monthly retainer. One person's rate, not an agency's markup.

Open-source work and anything that benefits the commons, I'm flexible on. Ask.

$ not-a-fit

I work best when the people I build for want it to work. Here's when I don't.

# You need enterprise SLAs. I'm one person who builds well-documented systems — not a support desk.

# You want AI to replace people on your team. I build tools that give the people you already have more leverage.

# The system needs to be a black box that only I can touch. Every build comes with docs someone else can follow.

# You need it done by last quarter. I'll tell you if the timeline is fiction before I take the deposit.

# Your team isn't on board. If nobody on your side wants to learn how the system works, it'll be abandoned within a year.

Have a system worth building?

$ I'd rather show you than pitch you.
